The Campus Youth Pastor at HighRidge Graham is responsible for overseeing the administration and execution of Youth services, and discipling students, leaders and volunteers.


Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Ministry responsibilities:

• Oversee and disciple and the generation and walking them through their next steps with Christ.
• Oversee and disciple volunteers, captains, and leaders with regular oversights
• Oversee the health and growth of HRC Youth Groups ¬+ host group leader functions, trainings, gatherings
• Champion the vision
• Help with preparation and presentation of Wednesday services: can include hosting leader meetings, speaking, general ‘overseeing’ in accordance with the vision
• Oversee school outreach and activities
• Recruit and train new group leaders and outreach team members
• Weekly tasks (tasks that come up spontaneously week to week)

Administrative responsibilities:

• Oversee Ministry Mobilizer (ensure all volunteer applications are processed in a timely manner)
• Oversee vital statistics (ensure all Youth and YA stats are entered and updated weekly)
• Oversee team development, organization, and operation
• Oversee CCB process queues (ensure all calls /connections are being made weekly)
• Planning Center Online (Planning services and scheduling people)
• Group + Outreach preparation and administration
• General admin (printing, emailing, reports, etc. – all things required weekly)
• Pick up / delivery (Errands associated with student ministry)
• Weekly tasks (tasks that come up spontaneously week to week)


Qualifications include:

Person must have the ability to stay flexible and accommodating to changes in operations, schedules, and responsibilities while exhibiting a positive attitude and quality work ethic.

  • Maintains personal priorities of home and family well
  • Consistent in personal spiritual growth through prayer and Bible study
  • Skilled at mobilizing members and executing strategy
  • Gifted communicator
  • Preferred experience leading in a ministry setting
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered. Qualifications include:
    • Leadership skills
    • Relational skills
    • Lives a life of Christ-like character and integrity
    • Teachable, flexible, works well with others, detail-oriented, organized

Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires sitting, walking, bending, stooping, twisting and lifting up to 20 pounds as needed to fulfill job duties and requirements.
