I gave my heart to God when I was nine years old, but it wasn’t until ten years later that I experienced a significant encounter with the Lord that led to the complete surrender of my life to Him.
I grew up in Illinois, and my parents who loved the Lord, took me to church and taught me the things of God. For this I am eternally grateful!
I graduated from the University of Southern Illinois in Carbondale with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and shortly following, made my way to Fort Worth to get a master’s in divinity.
From that point until the present, I have been ministering in churches in and around North Texas. I have been serving as Lead Pastor at Highridge Church since 2007.
I married my wife, Dawn, in 1984, and we have five children and currently have five grandchildren.
