We understand life is a journey filled with ups and downs, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. Our Care & Support Ministry offers hope, help and healing to our church and community through biblical guidance, prayer and resources.

Pastoral Care

We provide biblical counsel for individuals who call HighRidge their home church. This is short-term and provided by our Campus Pastors and trained leaders, who walk alongside you to find God’s answers to life’s difficulties. Their role is to listen, pray with you, encourage you with biblical truths and provide resources that can help you through the challenges life might bring.

The Bible teaches that Christians should carefully guard personal and private information others reveal to them. Protecting confidence is a sign of Christian love and respect.

The types of counsel/help we are able to facilitate are:

General Counsel (spiritual, emotional, physical)
Pre-marriage Counsel
Marriage Counsel
Children/Family Counsel
Grief Counsel
Addiction Counsel
Post-Divorce Counsel

The goal of all pastoral counsel can be summed up in the following verse:

“… You (God) comfort me by Your counsel; You draw me closer to You.” Psalm 73:23

Celebration of Life

As part of our pastoral care ministry, we serve HighRidge members who have suffered loss by providing a Celebration of Life service. To inquire about this opportunity, please email [email protected] or call 817-249-5200

Prayer

HighRidge Church encourages daily communication with God through prayer. Healthy, vibrant relationships require open communication, and prayer is the language of communicating with God. He invites us to speak to Him just as we would talk with a loving spouse/parent/friend, bringing Him our joys and sorrows and needs.

Our Prayer Team is here to support you in times of need and rejoice with you in times of celebration. Prayer requests are discreetly shared with a dedicated team that will commit to praying for you and your loved ones.

Financial ASSISTANCE

HighRidge is committed to providing care and support for those encountering financial hardship due to job loss, health problems and other extenuating circumstances.

We prioritize assistance to our members and regular attenders who can show evidence of involvement in church life through participation in Small Groups and our Dream Team. We offer assistance to our community as we are able and funds are available.

We strive to honor God by being good stewards of the funds entrusted to us by Him and our congregation. Therefore, applications are required to evaluate each situation and our ability to provide resources. We are unable to give cash or write checks directly to individuals.
