Heart for this House

WHAT IS HEART FOR THE HOUSE?

Heart for the House is a special time of year for our church, celebrating all God has accomplished in the past year and prayerfully considering how each of us can partner financially to help our church move forward with our vision to strengthen more people for life.

As believers, we are part of God’s family, sharing a commission to reach as many people as possible with the good news of Christ. HighRidge carries out this mission with a unique approach and passion, expressed through various ministries in our church and our community.

This year, we joyfully highlight what God has accomplished through Chosen Ministry, NextGen Ministries, and Marriage and Family Ministry, not just in the past year but from the earliest days of HighRidge.

We celebrate the seed of faith which was first planted in Pastor Jeff’s and Dawn’s hearts years ago, which has grown through the years and multiplied in fruitfulness. We look forward with anticipation toward all the possibilities ahead, reaching more people and helping them Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference!

We are excited to announce a special Heart for the House offering on Sunday, November 16, 2025. We believe this offering will help move us forward with our commission to reach as many people as possible for Christ.

Join us as we pray into this special time of giving by asking the Lord how He wants you to participate. Make sure to be in one of our services that Sunday so that you can be a part of all that God is doing at HighRidge Church.

Thank you for your generosity, for your heart to honor the Lord, and for being a part of strengthening more people for life!

What We Are Believing For

LETTER FROM PASTOR JEFF & DAWN

“Imagine a church that reaches out into the heart of Fort Worth and Parker County, where the focus continues to be strengthening people for life; a place for children, students from middle school, high school, and college, single moms, young marrieds, families, adults of all ages and seasons, to gather together to receive the Word, worship the Lord, and serve. Imagine a place where people in crisis or hard times can come and receive the help they need, where they can get connected and encouraged; a place for raising and training young people for ministry and the future; a place where people find hope, know they are loved and that God has a plan for their lives; and above all, a place where the love of God is poured out and many come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior…”

Stories from the Heart

These personal testimonies of life-change have come from ministries that are at the heart of our house.

CHOSEN MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT

Alyson Aaron
Though their young family couldn’t foster or adopt at the time, Alyson and her family found ways to serve, demonstrating her belief that “everybody can have a place in Chosen ministries here at HighRidge.”

NEXTGEN MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT

Sam Gmuer
Growing up, the HighRidge church family has really been my extended family. I always had men and women to look up to who were further along the journey than me… their leadership, their teaching, their mentorship has been such a huge part of the formation of who I am today as a man, as a believer, as a husband and a father.”

MARRIAGE & FAMILY MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT

Tim & Tina Ingram
Their story is more than just a love story. It’s about God grafting two lives, two families, and even two extended families into something new and whole. Tim puts it simply: “We worship together. We’ve been able to raise our families together. There’s not tension there, because God’s been in the middle of it.”

Growing Heart, Growing House

THIS YEAR’S INITIATIVES

As we celebrate all God has done in the past year through this house, we know that God has even more for us to accomplish together!

Ministry Growth

We look forward with great faith to see more families and volunteers joining our Foster and Adoptive ministry, Chosen; more people serving in our NextGen Ministries; so more children, youth, and young adults can grow in their faith and purpose through increased opportunities to connect in spiritual community. We also look forward to seeing more marriages and families flourishing because of our marriage groups, date-night events, mentoring relationships, and our upcoming 2026 Thrive Marriage Conference.

We are excited for more people to join us on Sundays and find hope by beginning a life-giving relationship with Jesus!

Expansion

Our Fort Worth Campus has served as the strong roots for our ever-growing family tree. We are filled with faith as we look toward the possibility of expanding our Kids Wing at the Fort Worth Campus, adding an indoor play area and a new space to serve more children on Sundays.

When you give to Heart for the House, you’re part of a growing legacy—planting hope for vulnerable kids, sowing strength into marriages, and cultivating faith in the next generation, building on the momentum at both Parker County and Fort Worth, and breaking new ground for all that is still to come.
