Heart for this House
WHAT IS HEART FOR THE HOUSE?
Heart for the House is a special season when we celebrate all God has done through the ministries at the heart of our church. It is also a time to prayerfully consider how we can partner together to move our vision forward and strengthen more people for life.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
As God’s family, we share the mission of reaching people with the good news of Jesus. Heart for the House is an opportunity to celebrate what God is doing through HighRidge and invest in what’s ahead. Together, we celebrate the impact of Chosen, NextGen, and Marriage & Family Ministries as we look forward with faith to reaching more people and helping them Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. MATTHEW 6:21
Be a Part of the Heart
The church is more than a building. It’s a family that shows up, cares for one another, and walks through life together. When we give our time, talent, and treasure, we invest in the people God has placed around us. Together, we build each other up and strengthen one another for life. That’s what being the church is all about!
Each of us has the opportunity
to consider how we might share our:
TIME
Time is one of our most precious commodities. How can we invest in what matters most?
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. PSALM 90:12

Missions Opportunities
TALENT
God created each of us with specific gifts and skills. How can we use our talents to encourage and strengthen others?
A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. 1 CORINTHIANS 12:7

TREASURE
Our resources are a gift from God. How can we communicate God’s heart for people through our generosity?
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. MATTHEW 6:21

Giving to Heart for the House helps our church ministries flourish and expand. Those who have previously participated in the H4TH offering contributed to the new Fort Worth Kids Wing Expansion project (coming spring 2027).

Stories from the Heart
These personal testimonies of life-change have come from ministries that are at the heart of our house.
CHOSEN MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT
Seth & Kelley McWilliams
Seth: “The people that were supposed to be there to take care of her and support her have abandoned her or abused her, or just completely neglected her. And we can’t be another one. And we won’t. It’s very, very hard. But we’re not gonna be another family that said we were gonna be there for her and not do it.”

NEXTGEN MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT
Jason McGovern
“My appearance doesn’t look like I’d serve in these places — but my appearance isn’t who I am. God put on my heart that these kids are our most urgent mission field, our most urgent discipleship field. We only get a few short years with them — to point them to God, so they don’t lose that faith when they walk out into the real world.”

MARRIAGE & FAMILY MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT
The Campbells & The Youtseys
“Our generation sees perfection everywhere on social media… but when we’ve met with Johnny and Sherri, they’ll say, ‘When we had young kids, we didn’t go on lavish date nights — we had takeout Italian and sat on the floor by the fireplace.’ It’s been nice to see it’s not always what it looks like — they’ve gone through the same struggles. They’ve just made it through.”

BE A PART OF THE HEART
TOGETHER WE BUILD A LEGACY
On Sunday, November 15, 2026, we’ll wrap up our Heart for the House series with Vision Sunday. We’ll take a behind-the-scenes look at the people who faithfully serve across all six HighRidge locations each Sunday and consider how God is leading each of us to be part of the mission as we reach more people for Christ.
HighRidge is not just a church, it is your church!
Thank you for your generosity, for your heart to honor the Lord, and for being a part of strengthening more people for life!

What We Are Believing For
LETTER FROM PASTOR JEFF & DAWN
“Imagine a church that reaches out into the heart of Fort Worth and Parker County, where the focus continues to be strengthening people for life; a place for children, students from middle school, high school, and college, single moms, young marrieds, families, adults of all ages and seasons, to gather together to receive the Word, worship the Lord, and serve. Imagine a place where people in crisis or hard times can come and receive the help they need, where they can get connected and encouraged; a place for raising and training young people for ministry and the future; a place where people find hope, know they are loved and that God has a plan for their lives; and above all, a place where the love of God is poured out and many come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.”
